Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 22, 2026

Vegas Senior Advisor is committed to making seniorcarelocator.org accessible to the widest possible audience, including users with disabilities. This statement describes our accessibility approach and how to report accessibility issues.

Standards we aim for

We design and develop our website to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a range of disabilities including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments. We test our pages with screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, sufficient color contrast, and resizable text.

Features we have implemented

Across the site, we use semantic HTML structure, descriptive page titles, alt text on meaningful images, logical heading order, sufficient color contrast for body text and links, keyboard-navigable menus and forms, and skip-to-content patterns where appropriate. Mobile pages use responsive layouts that work at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.

Known accessibility limitations

We are aware of the following areas where accessibility may be imperfect and where we are working to improve:

  • Some legacy pages from earlier site versions may have heading order issues. We are updating these on a rolling basis.
  • Some structured-data widgets (FAQ accordions, tables) may have inconsistent screen-reader behavior across browsers.
  • The facility directory pages are dense and may be challenging for screen reader users; we are working on an accessible-list view option.

Alternative ways to reach us

If you encounter accessibility barriers anywhere on the site, please use any of the following to reach us:

  • Phone: (702) 802-0093 — Live advisor support during business hours. Speech-to-text accommodations available on request.
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Mail: Vegas Senior Advisor, P.O. Box 27384, Las Vegas, NV 89126

Reporting an accessibility issue

If you are unable to access information or functionality on our site due to an accessibility issue, please contact us with: the URL where you encountered the issue, the assistive technology you are using (screen reader, voice recognition, etc.), and a description of the problem. We aim to respond within two business days and resolve confirmed issues as soon as possible.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time project. We review our pages periodically and incorporate accessibility considerations into new content and feature development. We welcome feedback from users about accessibility experience.
